Refugee Action helps asylum seekers and refugees to access the support they need to rebuild their lives in the UK. It does this through a combination of direct service delivery, campaigns and advocacy, and through collaborative work.
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit the UK, providers of frontline services had to rapidly re-assess how they operated.
I collated and synthesised more than 30 conversations with frontline providers. My task was to highlight key themes and identify the biggest challenges, in order to help Refugee Action – and the wider support sector – understand priority needs and decide where to focus efforts. I summarised findings in a co-authored article for the Refugee Action blog.
